First Time is an Australian driving instruction business that offers you the benefits of one on one, in-car training.

We began as First Time 4WD in 2019, when two professional emergency services driver trainers with a shared passion for off-road adventures saw an opportunity to provide personalised, one-on-one, in-car driver instruction. Our goal? To help drivers get the most out of their 4WDs, whether it’s for business or leisure.

Our team is made up of qualified serving or retired emergency services advanced driving instructors who are highly experienced in both on and off-road driving and instruction. 

All instructors have proven experience in road safety and safe work practices and have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Meet our team below.
